Who will win the premiership?
The Contenders:
Chelsea: have the right winning mentality and know how to win matches. Fantastic experienced players in Lampard, Drogba, Terry, Malouda et el. Will either win the league again or finish a close second Latest Odds: 6/4
Man Utd: been there, done it, got the t'shirt. This season could be the toughest yet with Man City amongst others breathing down their neck. Ferguson has only made two new additions to his side, with the impressive Hernandez bolstering the strikeforce. His side are very experienced and i feel that both Valencia & Nani will have alot of influence this season for them. Latest Odds: 5/2
Arsenal: had a disappointing season last time around. They were too inconsistent which meant that they were out of the running for the title. This season they could make a real impact, especially after holding on to their best players . I think they are a good bet to bring a real challenge for the title. Latest Odds: 11/2
Liverpool: they simply have to imprive. Last season saw them lose their Champion Legaue place. They have to believe this season. The new maanger Roy Hodgson should be able to get his message across. I'm not sure how they will fair this season, especially with Torres not 100% fit, but they'll be challenging once more. Latest Odds: 12/1
Tottenham: Redknapp has done a fantastic job since he arrived by steering Spurs to their first ever Champions Legaue place. They are looking like a team who have lots of potential, but need extra cover in defence as King and Woodgate are always unfit. If they can do that then there's no reason why they can't have a repeat performance this season. Latest Odds: 33/1
Man City: the "team" made up of gifted individuals. This could be their downfall. They have a lot of talanted players, but there have been a a lot of comings and goings, which all takes time to bed down. They showed real brilliance last season with Tevez leading the charge. This season it all depends on how quickly the players can gel and once that clicks into place you'll see some fireworks. Latest Odds: 11/2
