Premier League Predictions 22/23 Jan

Wolves are improving of late and Mick McCarthy’s side will fancy their chances of upsetting King Kenny as he takes his Liverpool side to the Black Country. Dalglish is yet to win since his return to Anfield and he could find Wolves a tough nut to crack on their own turf. bet365 are 9/4 about the home side could be popular in the run-up to the 12.45 kick off. Arsenal, who are now 1/4 with bet365 to win a trophy this season, host an unpredictable Wigan side, but RVP is showing glimpses of being back to his best and coupon punters will be putting a mark next to the Gunners name that’s for sure. BET HERE

Having witnessed the recent clash between Stoke and Fulham I can’t imagine a feast of goals being on the menu and there are bound to be a few takers of the 4/7 under 2.5 goals. BET HERE

Man Utd are 9/1 to remain unbeaten and 12/1 Birmingham City are the latest side to try and end this run. Players, pundits and managers continue to say that Fergie’s boys cannot go the whole of 2010/11 undefeated (66/1 with bet365 before Christmas), but the fixture list for the next month looks ok, so much so that bet365 are just 5/6 that it’s still going after the clash against Man City on 12th February. Darren Bent pulls on a Villa shirt for the first time on Saturday night and he’s 12/1 to score a penalty against Man City, just like he did back in August for his former club Sunderland. BET HERE

There is only one game on Sunday and that is the one I’ll be venturing to. Albion will need to practice their defending of set-plays for the trip to Lancashire. Albion were involved in a crazy end-to-end classic last Saturday against Blackpool, but the Rovers rearguard may not be as generous as their Blackpool counterparts and it’s a game I’ll be avoiding a punt on (honest!) Didier Drogba is the latest Chelsea player to mention the Blues stuttering season and they surely have to be avoided at 8/13 for the Monday night game against Bolton BET HERE
