Goal machine Sergio Aguero is bet365′s new favourite to land the 2011/12 Premier League Golden Boot after his cameo performance against Swansea on Monday night.
bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth admitted: “Even after a thirty minute showing as a 2nd half substitute we were scrambling to cut the 14/1 about Aguero – and they say he’s not yet up to speed!
“The thought of David Silva producing the ammunition for Aguero is frightening, and with the prospect of the £38m man also being on penalty duty, we had no choice but to make him favourite.”
Aguero is 8/11 to score 18 or more Premier League goals, 4/6 to outscore Wayne Rooney and 11/10 to notch a hat-trick in his first season in English football.
